  1. Are you scheduled on your pill pack to be on your period? Are you sure they are menstrual cramps?

I use Yaz as well. I have months where I dont get a single cramp (like now) and I have months where I have to take pain meds for a couple of days' worth of cramps.  If you've just recently started on Yaz, your body may still be adjusting, especially if you werent on birth control at all before or you were on a higher dose.

  2. I'm on Yaz too.  You are protected against pregnancy during all your pills, not just the active ones.  You might have gotten a cramp from having s*x, especially if is was rough or if he was hitting your cervix.  If you had an intense o****m that could cause cramping as well.  I regularly get cramps after s*x, sometimes lasting for a day or so.  I wouldn't be too worried unless it keeps hurting.  You may experience some breakthrough bleeding but it's pretty common with low dose pills like Yaz.  Good luck!

  3. You're probably NOT pregnant.  Unless you had s*x WHILE you were on your period...then you might be.

The cramps are probably just a stomache ache or some other ache.

You don't ever just get cramps?

  4. No you're not pregnant.  This can be normal.  When you are on the pill, you may tend to have cramps... and that may mean that this pill may not be right for you and you may need to try a different brand.

Also, during the time that you are taking the pill you are protected from pregnancy the ENTIRE time -- during both active AND non-active pills.

  5. I take that same BC, and I've never had that issue. I think it is probably just a coincidence... You probably haven't a thing to worry about. If you are worried, call the nurse at your OBGYN office. They're always really helpful for me.
