Their is a boy , a chicken , a fox and wheat on island 1. The boy must have to get everything to island 2 , but his boat can only take 2 at a time and the boy has to transport all 3 things to island 2 but he cant take the fox 1st because the chicken will be left on island 1 with the wheat caz then the chicken will eat the wheat. He cant get the chicken 1st because once the chicken is on island 2 the boy willl have to take either the fox or the wheat. If he takes the wheat to island 2 and leaves the wheat and chicken byself on island 2 then the chicken will eat the wheat and he cant take the fox caz then the fox will then eat the chicken. HOW can he take alll 3 of tem to island 2 without any of them getting harmed by oneanother. [read carefully eat confusing @ first] Good Luck :)

  1. The man takes the chicken across first, leaving the fox and grain together on the other side.

    He returns and gets the fox, but when he deposits the fox on the other side, he takes the chicken BACK across, so that the fox and chicken aren't left alone together.

    He drops the chicken off back on the other side, picks up the grain, and takes it across to deposit with the fox.

    Finally, he returns to retrieve the chicken and takes it to the other side.

    At no time were the fox and chicken left alone together, nor were the chicken and grain.

    At no time was more than one of them in the boat with the man simultaneously.

    Then take the fox.

    When you take the fox, take the chicken back.

    Then take the wheat to island 2, because the fox will not eat the wheat.

    Go back and get the chicken.
