the overview looked good. your description was well put for the intensity of the scene. i might actually read it.

The description was enough to put me off.

You repeated intense about four times in two or three sentences. There was an excess of adverbs and there was nothing that made me want to read it.

Also, the cover is kind of lame. You might want to think about that; the first impression you have is important. Sometimes you can judge a book by it's cover.
