  1. Dow Jones & Company is an American publishing and financial information firm.

The company was founded in 1882 by three reporters: Charles Dow, Edward Jones, and Charles Bergstresser. That explains the origin of name.

NIKKEI stands for Nihon Keizai Shimbun, which is one of the largest media corporations in Japan.

FTSE Group is a British provider of stock market indices and associated data services.

The letters F-T-S-E are no longer an abbreviation although they represent that FTSE is a joint venture between the Financial Times (F-T) and London Stock Exchange (S-E)

All of these can be found on the wiki.

  2. All stock markets or market tracking devices:

Dow Jones - Dow Jones Industrial Average, American stock market indices

NIKKEI - Specializes in publishing financial, business and industry news in Japan.

FTSE - British provider of stock market indices.
