Question

how do u think the two organisms like the fungus and aphids may be contributing to the unhealthy condition of the tree?

now posting this question in the "botany"" category...please help

They might be "leaching" the nutrients from a tree.  Just think if you had tapeworms in your stomach.  You could eat as much as you want, but those tapeworms are going to actually eat all your food and your body will never get any digested which means no nutrients will get to your body.  The same applies here.  The tree is bringing up water and nutrients from the soil, but it is not getting utilized because of the fungus.
