I am going to Nuevo Vallarta which is not in puerto vallarta. I need to know what kind of restaurants are cheap that I can go to or just not too overpriced? Also, if the beach water is warm or beach is crowded?

Well not all are over price, there is a small mall in Nuevo Vallarta and the restaurant right there is simple and serve good food and is not so expensive,  

Also even when is not at Nuevo Vallarta you can take the bus (.50 us cents ) to MARINA VALLARTA and check "El Coleguita" sea food, is cheap and great food, but you will have to wait for a table, drinking free tequila and some shrimp brd, but its worth the waiting, you will have a large plate with fish, two types of shrimp dishes and a salad and some rice for 10 usd , maybe right now you think is not that cheap, but wait until you see the plate.

Nuevo Vallarta is full with "all inclusive resorts" so for restaurants is better to go to Puerto Vallarta¨s Down town or Marina Vallarta, and you will find places for all types of budgets.

You will need to go to Puerta Vallarta for inexpensive dining. Nuevo Vallarta is ALL high end.

Pipis Restaurant In Puerto Vallarta is a fantastic, its out of the way so it is not crowded at all, and it is very inexpensive!
