I always get mixed up about if high pressure results in stormy or fair weather. The same thing with low air pressure. If you want you could leave a link explaining it or just use your own words. Thank you!

  1. Usually sunny and warm.      In the winter however that same high could funnel cold air from Canada,  in which case you would probably be sunny and cold.    Low pressure is lighter and can hold more moisture,  therefore stormier weather will follow.. (generally)

  2. In a high pressure area, pressure gradient is usually small and hence winds are light.Weather is usually fair in summer; In winter conditions are favourable for the formation of radiation fog. This fog may sometimes lift and become thick low cloud.

  3. Just remember air flows from high pressure to low pressure. So when the mercury drops in the barometer(that is when pressure drops) a storm is quite likely since air might flow very vigourously from all sides..

  4. HOT weather

whether you think thats nice or not

  5. High pressure results in fair weather because it is a sinking mechanism. Clouds and precipitation cannot form because moisture is not allowed to rise to the Lifting Condensation Level (LCL), the height at which air must raised to for condensation to occur. Also, windy conditions are generally rare because air moves from high pressure to low pressure. Plus, low pressure strengthen, which creates the windy conditions.

  6. Nice weather; you always hear about low pressure in hurricanes and thunderstorms.

  7. High pressure will lead to more hot weather n saturated moisture

If u live in Northpole than its sure nice

    otherwise not.  :)
