How much of Oil should i put, What the manual says .

3.1 quarts of oil with filter change. Oil drain bolt=22lb.ft Oil filter=20lb.ft

I found this info on a Honda forum. Don't know if it's straight out of the manual or not but should be pretty close.

...buy four quarts.  It holds more than three but less than four.  make sure that the bike is straight up and down when you check for oil and let the bike sit for a few mins before checking the level.

I have an 02 f4i and my best guess is 3.4 quarts.  Buy 4 quarts of oil and put 3 in, hold the bike level and slowly add what you need to get it up to the top line in sight window.
