Okay I've to send $19.97 to America by Money order from Ireland. I'm using a post office. I have to change my euros to dollars as well. Using the price above , can anyone tell me how much the money order and changing it in the post office will cost me?

The current exchange rate is 1.3388 US Dollars (USD) equal to 1 Euro. However, this is constantly changing, so it would be impossible to pin the cost down exactly until the moment that you are at the counter to do so.  Following is a link to a conversion chart, where you can track the market of eruos to dollars:

The Post Office won't charge a fee for the conversion, so the cost of your transaction at current rates would be about $14.94 Euros. The Money Order cost would be abother 2 Euros or so, and postage to the US would be around one, so your total should be just less than 18 Euros.

Call your local post office, they can definately tell you. Or go to their website, google them. They usually have conversions and prices on the site!
