Question

A farmer is walking down a trail with three things: a goat, a wolf, and a head of cabbage. They come to a wide river, where there is a boat big enough to hold only the farmer and one other item at a time. The farmer will have to take each item over seperately, but there's a problem. If the goat is left alone with the cabbage, the goat will eat the cabbage. If the wolf is left alone with the goat, the goat will be eaten. How does the farmer get all three items over, intact?

There is no swimming involved.

HINT: The solution involves taking one item over and then later taking it back.

the farmer uses this to conjur a larger boat he shakes his f***y and does the twist, and there ya have it

then he goes back for the wolf. he drops off the wolf. takes the goat back. ties the goat there to a pole. then takes the cabbage over. then goes back for the goat.

answer to the how does he get over:

if he is on a trail there will be trees. he finds an axe. chops down a tree then builds a raft with the glue in his pocket.

Take over the wolf over with the cabbage and drop him off.  Take the cabbage back, collect the goat and rejoin the wolf.  Cabbage wasn't sacrificed.
