  1. When It comes to street bikes the best out there is not a Honda or a Suzuki. Kymco and Hyosung  make 250 cc in three different styles, The kymco is the Venox and it is a great bike. I own one for three  years now go everywhere including highway trips. Hyosung makes the  GV250 and GT250 as well as the 250 comet. All there are good rides comfortable. You do not pay for the name like you do with the  Japanese bikes. The rebel is a old air cooled vertical twin   these are all water cooled  Vtwins and are a different ball game. These are not imported Chinese junk. Both of these companies have been around since the 60's and use to make the smaller motors for Honda and Suzuki.

    not all bikes are available in the USA

  3. why would you want a 250cc street bike, maybe a scooter. Its to small to safely travel alot of roads.

    however;

    There are entry-level cruisers, and then there's the Rebel-sporting more style and user-friendly performance than any other 250-class machine out there. Dependable Honda four-stroke power, exceptional handling, styling as classic as it is attractive, an all-new Silver paint scheme ... what's not to like about this great entry-level cruiser on the road? Correct. Absolutely nothing.

    Light weight and a seat just 27 inches from the pavement make the Virago 250 a great trainer as well as a great choice for riders who appreciate the fun that comes in small packages.

    The Eliminator® 125 embodies classic cruiser styling in a lightweight motorcycle with a low seat height and a friendly powerband.  This makes it an excellent choice for new riders or anyone seeking an easy reach to the pavement.

    The Boulevard S40 adds a shot of advanced Suzuki technology to this timeless design to create a bike that combines exciting performance with rock-solid reliability.

    these are the top mfg, not korea, sources below

  4. The new Kawasaki Ninja 250.

    Gorgeous small bike, high corner speed, very nimble, keeps up with big bikes on the twisties but not ( obviously ) on motorways.
