at my school a girl who was suppsoed to graduate this year died in february by falling off a roof. Now my marketing class is fundraising for a bench in her memory. We have to send out press releases to the newspaper and i need a title. PLEASE HELP her name is Sadie and we're selling food during lunch hour to raise money

Find out who is responsible for the human interest and/or obiturary/memorial pieces and fax that person a copy of the press release. Be sure to the contact person's info on the Press Release so that the writer can reach him/her. If you don't hear from someone in a couple of days, call them to confirm receipt of the press release as you will want to get the ball rolling to raise money as soon as possible.

Sounds like a human interest story. Contact your newspaper to find out the name of the person in charge of the life section and discuss your options with that person.
