Question

Ok...so my friend was driving my dads truck with me. She ran a red light and the photo radar got her. The notice just came in the mail, and it says we have to forward it to the eprson driving the car. Im willing to take full responsibility...however even though i was not driving the car, can i forward it too myself? Will the check up and see its not me?

You don't have to go to traffic school.  They're only interested in receiving the fine due.  They don't care who was driving.

they want the ticket forwarded to the driver so that the registered owner can't say "wasn't me" and the court wants their money.  pay the ticket and move on, i don't think that you can do traffic school for a red light ticket, it's based on the registration of the car, not the license of the driver.

What they're really doing is giving your dad an out yet making it his responsibility to make sure the money gets paid.

Honesty is always the best policy.  Does your Dad know she was driving?  I would probably tell him about it all and even if he gets mad he will respect you more for being up front with him and it will add growth to your relationship.
