  1. it is hard, for me.

i was a vego for nine months. i gave it all up for my own health.

but, you can eat chips. just no meat.

but please take this advice. tell your parents to get you vitamins and protein pills. or you'll become anemic, like me.

oh and some good vege-head food are in freezer aisles! "morning star" green box!

    oh yeahh, i'm only 14.

it WILL be easy if you eat right.

good luck. and one day i will be a veggie again..

  2. I'm vegetarian, it isn't really that difficult.

However i do eat Fish and Eggs because my doctor told me too, I have protein deficiency.

You can eat things, but remember that ALWAYS look at the back of the packaging, and read the ingredients. Can you eat animal fats?

because if you don't then don't eat at fast food places, and don't eat junk food.

You can't eat Chicharon, you can't eat tacos, or chile con carne. You can't eat most Pizzas, or anything that they give you at your cafeteria.

hmm, well idk, after a while it seems normal, and meat seams... EW!

  3. u have to avoid all sort of meat, and fish....

u can eat all sort of veges...fruites.. nuts....

u can eat cheese, eggs, milk....

all u have to do is avoid all sort of food which involbs killing any life....

  4. No animal products, no animal, by-products, no oils made with animal products. Fresh fruit , fresh vegetable, steam vegetables, legumes,. Being a vegetarian is a committment and could take up a lot of time regulating your body to the new diet. You have to make sure you get enough protein from the foods you are intaking.

There are many sources that you could investigate on line or in book stores, that will guide you to a healthier you. You also can start at a health food store for free info. Vegetarians are a very helpful and enlightened group of nice people. But 1st you have to learn how to spell VEGETARIAN. Good Luck

  5. Being a vegitarian is somewhat hard...especially if you still live at home with parents. If you do...get them to help you out (buy some vegitarian friendly food). The only things you can't eat when you're a vegitarian is meat (animal flesh, including poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea...then there's also products like leather and actual animal fur that you can't wear) Chips are OK! If you want to be a vegan...that's a totally different story...you can't eat anything that has any product from an animal...or even use any products made by them (dairy, eggs, honey, wool, silk, down feathers, etc...and also including all the animal meat!) Make sure you eat a lot of protein while being a vegiterian...your skin can turn orange from lack of it...foods you should eat are: eggs and diary(if you're not going the vegan route), beans, and nuts and soy! Hope this helps!!! : )

  6. OF COURSE YOU CAN EAT CHIPS! unless they're somehow made of meat or something.. o_____O

You can't eat meat. That's all. Fish, chicken, beef, pork, etc.

Some go further and don't eat eggs.

It's gonna be hard, but think of your motivation (animal cruelty, diet, etc) when you smell that... really... good... meat...

  7. to be safe avoid most of the packaged/processed foods

  8. yes you can eat chips chips hav eno meat in them unless you buy some weird meat chips. you just can not eat any meat or foods with meat in them or that come from meat. A regular vegetarian can eat only these meats: chicken, turkey, and fish.

  9. what you need to eat is protein.

since giving up meat is the main source of protein you need to substitute it with rice, beans, nuts, dairy products, veggies, and fruit. i was a vegetarian last year(im 15) and the best place to shop for food is trader joes. :)

    good luck

  10. I suggest you try to read or learn more about the whole vegetarian thing before you dive headlong into becoming one. Do it on your own so you can make a clear decision without bias from somebody else. It's your life not theirs. Doing or being involved in something without knowledge almost guarantees failure. There are many books and net based resources that  you can read before making the decision.

    Good luck

  11. You can eat chips.

There are 3 Common types of Vegetarians.

    1. Lacto-ovo

Doesn't eat meat of any kind, but consumes eggs and dairy

    2. Lacto or Ovo.

Doesn't eat meat of any kind, but consumes eggs or dairy

    3. Vegan

Doesn't eat meat of any kind, Doesn't eat animal products of any kind.

There are also pescatarian, flexitarian, macrobiotic.

Being only 13, I would suggest Lacto-Ovo or pescatarian.

Pescatarians only eat fish, eggs, dairy, and fruit and veg.

Also, you will need to introduce nuts and seeds into your diet.

And if you are going to be a Vegan, then drink soymilk instead of milk.

  12. I eat chips. I love them.

  13. Of course... I am a vegetarian and there are plenty of things you can eat...just make sure to check labels some things have beef broth or chicken broth that you may not normally think would.  Good luck and way to go!!!!

  14. main thing is ingredients. pick something up. go on the computer. type it in along with the word vegetarian and see what pops up.

p.s. the chips depend on the oil in which was used.cuz cape cod potato chips are not vegetarian.
