I want to know why is he remembered? I know he was his artist, but want to know why is he still remembered?

Sandro Boticelli was a painter but if I could name for his major contribution, I would have to say The Birth of Venus, which is his most famous masterpiece and one of the most well known artworks from the Renaissance period. If Sandro Boticelli is still remembered today than it has to be for that. The Birth of Venus is a very recognizable painting that virtually many people know what it looks like.
