  1. What you can do is reset it to factory config by holding in the reset button at the back of the router for 10-20 seconds. Then you should have an option of selecting language on first config.

  2. I usually RESET the Router using the Reset button on the back of it and then use the username : admin and password : password. on 192.168.0.1

if its not 192.168.0.1 or 1.1 then you can type CMD on start menu search box and run COMMAND PROMPT and then type "ipconfig" in this look for the DEAFAULT GATEWAY of the ethernet card you connected the Router to and thats the pagefrom where u change the settings

  3. hold down the reset button it will default to factory setting and then start again (make a note of the settings for future reference)

  4. So you have the password and you're able to get to the admin screen?

Once you're there, click on the "Administration" tab at the top (2nd one from the right) then go to "Factory Defaults" (3rd thing from the right) and select Yes and click on the button right under that (on the left) that says "Save Settings" and that should reset the router back to factory default.

Note:To login again, you leave the username blank and the pass is "admin". Also, you may have to wait a few minutes before you will be able to access the internet again - even after it's done resetting.

  5. Hit the reset button on the back of the unit hold it for 15s.

  6. Take a paper clip and hit the reset button in that little hole.  You will have to hold it in until you see some action on the lights.

Make sure you setup the correct security on your wireless network.  Make sure you know how to enter in a WPA passphrase at the least.  This same passphrase must be entered in on your computer and router exactly the same.  Change your SSID to something unique as well.
