10 pts! Print Screen button!?

Question

I am on my desktop and I hit ctrl + prt sc. prt sc is in a box on the same key as insert. Then I try to paste it on paint, but I can't find the file. I have vista and a hp laptop!

If your on a laptop it might be fn+print screen. That should do it.

Just hit the print screen button, you do not have to hit the ctl button. you can past it in word or paint.

You dont need to press ctrl just prnt scrn button and it will capture it for you open up paint then press ctrl+v and it will laod up the screen shot then you have to save the file to a location ej. desktop

if two things occupy the same button you use shift to use the one on top not ctrl. To make it show on paint you use ctrl v or from the drop down menu of edit click Paste.

Iam also using vista and this should work. Then you can save your file.

Notes : Shift and PrtSc to print screen

            Control V after opening Paint to make it show up.

            Then save it ( prefferably as JPEG)
