  1. By the time you get anyone's answer, the "super cheap" offer that they have spotted will probably have been taken up anyway.

$2,200 round trip seems pretty good to me. Take it, get booked and sorted and don't mess round for a few small dollars.

  2. Hey,

Well, I haven't gotten the cheapest rate, but I have done my research.  BTW, the priceline.com quote is only from the US to Australia.  I know because I'm American and have tried to buy from Melbourne, where I live, and they don't allow a departure city from outside the US.  Try it, you'll see.  The quotes were also in $US.

Anyway, here are the ones I've found. These are for November 1 to November 20.  I'm also looking for similar rates for Milwaukee/Chicago at that time. FYI, Chicago is a mile cheaper than Minneapolis.

    bestflights.com.au        2326

    zuji.com.au        2484

    travel.com.au        2487

    directflights.com.au      2672

    expedia.com.au        2768

Good luck finding something cheaper!  I'm always on the lookout.  Also, you could call flightcentre.  They're supposed to be pretty good.

  3. On priceline using September dates quotes from $1561 using American Airlines and Qantas. Dates used sept 4 to sept 18. Shortest trip is from $1717. Recommed less time the better.

  4. You will find the cheapest here - http://www.webjet.com.au

All airlines in one site, finds you the cheapest fare.
