im planning on getting two 10" solo xs and i wanna know if im better off getting the L7s kus i wanna feel the bass so which sub hits harder and will giv me the most dbs

and about how much dbs will i get if i have a proper sealed box for the 10'' solo xs

  1. you cant calcate your dbs in any way of form. Unless your in a confined area(like a science office....) If you want bass, Either will be fine. As long as you make sure your ohms match up between your speakers and your amp. And dont go with a sealed box. Unless you just want dbs. Vent your box for the feelings power.  


  2. See which one has the higher dB sensitivity.

    You can approximate the dB output by calculating the dB rate.

    For each doubling of power, you get a 3dB gain in volume.

    If the sub has a sensitivity of 90dB......

    1 watt = 90dB

    2 watts = 93dB

    4 watts = 96dB

    8 watts = 99dB

    and so on.

  3. For the highest spl number go with the solo x , in a ported enclosure ,with big power, tuned at your peak cabin freq.

    If you are going to use a sealed enclosure ,I would recommend save your money and just run the L7 's
