  1. all i wanna say is already written above me

  2. Well this is what I do at home to recycle:

    1.  Cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, glass and cans all have their own recycling bins that are collected from my home so I use those, if they are full I also use the large recycling bins that are by my local shop.

    2.  Any large items I have that are in reasonable condition but no longer useful to me are put on freecycle.

    3.  I don't use bags provided by shops, I have bags that were given out free with magazines and some "bag for life" things that I have brought and use those instead.

    4.  I have a sewing machine and clothing I am bored with can be quickly changed into something I like, for instance I have a nice little tube top that had a previous life as an unflattering baggy t-shirt.

    5.  I have a young daughter and any clothes and toys she grows out of are usually passed on to friends or family that can use them for their children.

    6.  Any clothing that is too old or worn out to do anything else with I cut up to use as cleaning cloths or used for lining for my cat's bed or make hammocks for my rat cage (I have a lot of pets....).

    7.  Food that would be wasted if I've cooked too much or brought too much, is given to my pets as they can eat most things that I can.  A compost heap would be another way of gettng rid of waste food.

    8.  I re-use old jewlery that I no longer like or has broken by taking off the clasps and beads and things and letting my daughter and niece make themselves jewlery from them.

    9.  I use e-bay for anything I need to get rid of that I think is of quite high value, for instance I got around £25 for a pair of designer jeans that I no longer fitted into and about £17 for a pair of maternity dungarees.

    10.  I read a lot of books, but so do alot of my family and friends, so we book share instead of everyone buying the same thing, and I also pass on magazines I have read to my sister, who will in turn pass them on to my mom, saving us all money and getting as much use as we can out of one thing.

  3. May not be possible for average Joe to do these, but they are pretty cool: http://ecoble.com/2008/03/12/10-unusuall...
