  1. I liked the idea of renewing your wedding vows. They was pretty great, but you can check out the link below. In the olden days we would exchange Tin, but now it say diamonds. Anyway hope that helps.

  2. I would take a vacation just the two of you.  What are some things you guys like to do--especially something you haven't had a chance to do since you had kids (if you have them).  In my husband's and my case, when we were dating we loved to go hiking and white water rafting.

When is your anniversary?  You could do snow skiing, a cruise, stay at a bed and breakfast for a weekend.  Go to a football game.

The traditional gifts are tin/aluminum.  Of course, camping to me is the perfect idea there.  Aluminum cans for your drinks and tin plates over an open fire.  However there are all sorts of funny things you could do.  A friend of mine is very into funky art.  She bought one of those Pepsi can windmill things (do you remember the movie Twister?).  If your spouse is particularly into anything--my best friend loves Coca-Cola so it would be cute to get her several antique Coke items.

Another play on words--many people call their old car a "tin can".  Perhaps you can get him something to spruce up his car.  Then make a card that references that.  Or tin=trashy and check out Trashy lingerie at http://www.trashy.com.  Great site if you haven't spruced up that area of your life in a while.

Travel somewhere that means something to the both of you.  A place you've never been or a place from the early days of your relationship.  Or tickets to something he really wants to go to.  Perhaps season tickets to the local hockey team.  Or a cheap baseball game and buy him hot dogs and pretzels just like when he was a kid.  The important thing is to make it FUN.

Here is the link to the bed and breakfasts.  I love doing that.  Small intimate place.  Being out in nature and discovering something about each other.

  3. How about a nice dinner and a personalized keepsake gift - personalized with a message about how wonderful the past 10 years have been?

    Here's a source for gift ideas: http://www.personalizedpresents.com/10-y...

  4. Find an open field/park and go there in the evening.

Bring a basket of food and drinks. And bring all of your photos over the 10 years to look back on. It'll be a great reminder of what your love has endured! And if there's a way, play Shania Twain's "You're Still The One"

    Possibly renew your vows :)
