10 weeks postpartum, dizziness and hot flashes?

this is my second child, it seems for the last week I have been getting dizziness and hot flashes every night from about 6 pm until I go to sleep, the symptoms get progressively worse, and is exacerbated if I bend over or get up too fast. I am exclusively breastfeeding. I remember having dizziness from about 10 weeks to 20 weeks postpartum with my first child and then it went away. Is this hormonal? Has anyone else had this? Please don't get all riled up and order me to call my doctor, I know this, I will call tomorrow, I would just like some opinions.

  1. Yup, sadly, it's hormonal. Not a whole lot to be done about it, since it's due to lowering levels of estrogen after the birth. I hated waking up all sweaty.  They do make pajamas for menopausal women that are supposed to wick away sweat....

  2. Vitamin defficiencies because of breastfeeding? I had something like that. Doctors told me to change my dietary habits, keep taking the multivitamin and it got better.
