10 weeks pregnant and concerned.?

I saw the heartbeat yesterday, so I'm sure things are fine. Is it normal for pregnancy symptoms to become less intense and frequent by this point? I keep hearing when you're going to or have miscarried, the symptoms disappear.

  1. that is not true at all!  where did you hear that nonsense?!  MOST pregnant women lose their symptoms between 10-16 weeks.  Some have none at all and carry to full term.  I am 8+ weeks PG with #2 and the only thing i feel is tired!

    Congrats!

  2. well, everyone is a little different...symptoms do get better for a lot of people by 12 weeks so don't worry too much =)

  3. Of course. At 10 weeks my symptoms started going away and by the end of that week - the beginning of next they were gone.

The heartbeat is a good thing and I'm sure you are going to be just fine. You are almost out of the first trimester which is a worrisome time for many (including me).

  4. Symptoms are different with EVERYONE!!! You may have every symptom, you may have non. Please don't stress till there is something to stress about. Stress for you isn't good for the baby. You heard the heartbeat yesterday, your baby is fine and healthy. To be quite frank your lucky you aren't feeling too many symptoms.

  5. You saw the heartbeat!! Don't worry lol.

  6. Don't worry, I'm sure everything will be fine. I Lost my symptoms around the same time you did, and my pregnancy was just fine. I worried the whole pregnancy too, and it does no good to you or your baby. Relax, and try to enjoy yourself. Write a journal to record everything going on with your pregnancy. A great way to relieve stress, a wonderful momento for you and your child, and a refference for your next baby! good luck, and best wishes sent your way!

  7. yes its totally normal. all of my symptoms went away at around 9-10weeks. finally no more being sick all day!  :)

    congrats and good luck!

  8. You are normal, but I will look for a chart to re-assure you.

As you gain weight and there is pressure on your organs, and more blood pooling in your legs and feet, there will be accompanying abdominal changes, and things that you are not used to.

Somehow, you will have to get a load of your feet, yet still be active and exercise, possible get comfortable insoles and do as you normally do for comfort, and less anxiety.  But really, relax, and be happy.

  9. Its probably a combination of things. On one hand you are getting used to the feeling of being pregnant, and on the other they do generally lessen toward the end of the first trimester. Then you will get new ones in the second trimester
