Is this normal at 10 weeks pregnant?

Nausea is much less than it has been. Some days not there at all. I know it's weird, but the nausea is reassurring.

Breats are still sore.

I have period like cramping, mostly on the right side though. Not intense pain.

Lower back ache

I'm nervous. My last pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage. I saw the baby and heart beat two days ago.

The cramps scare me.

  1. Yeah that's normal, don't worry. The slight cramping is just your uterus growing, and your symptoms subside slightly around the 10/11 week point and sometimes go away completely by 12 weeks. I have had lower back pain my whole pregnancy so far, so don't be worried!

  2. Cramps can be scary but as long as they are not followed by bleeding you should be fine. I have had cramping throughout my whole pregnancy (26 weeks now) and my baby is fine. It's scary to go through a m/c then get pregnant and not worry. Be thankful your nausea is subsiding. Good luck to you....it will be ok!

  3. All the symptoms you are describing are normal.  If you are extremely concerned see your doctor.  He/She should be considering you a high risk patient because of your history.

  4. I had all the same symptoms at 10 weeks, minus the back ache (and my cramps were on the left, haha).  As the others have said, so long as there's no bleeding and the pain isn't intense, you should have nothing to worry over.  As always, though, if you're really upset, please consult a doctor.

  5. i had bad period cramps when i was supposed to start before i found out i was pregnant with olivia. i was convinced i was going to start. if your not spotting you should be just fine, but consult your doctor to be safe.

    good luck!

  6. If you're truly worried about it, go to your doctor and ask him/her about it. However, cramping is completely normal during pregnancy, as are sore b*****s and lower back pain. I mean, come on, you're body is preparing to hold a fetus in it and your hormones are going aaalllllllllll over the place. Your nausea is probably ending because you are reaching the end of your first trimester, which is generally when you feel that nausea.

  7. Completely normal! As long as you arent having heavy bleeding cramps are normal

  8. At 10 weeks many of your symptoms will lessen or go away (mine were gone by 11 weeks). Seeing the heartbeat is great news!

I've had cramps on and off my whole pregnancy (I am 23 weeks) - my last bout of cramps was a medical issue (small contractions from a UTI) but it was completely treatable and somewhere in the back of my mind I knew they were not normal so I got help.

Most of the time cramps are 100% normal, sometimes they are from an issue that is most of the time treatable as well. Don't worry, you are growing - but it's always good to mention it to the doctor, they'll be able to set your mind at ease.

    Congrats on your pregnancy!
