10 year old at an avril lavigne concert??

my 10 year old girl cousin wants to go to an avril lavigne concert (it's her favorite singer..ever since she was like...6 lol) but the point is.. do you think the concert is appropriate for her? or should she wait until she gets a little but older? she never ever went to a concert before. does avril cuss? will they be drinking. will people be wild?!

*please no comments like "avril lavigne is a poser" or "avril sucks. don't waste your money"

Yes, Avril does cuss. But I think the crowd there will be okay, since all of Avril's fans are teenage girls. I'd say go ahead and go! I have seen kids younger than 10 at a Panic At The Disco concert, and their songs are definently not appropriate (not that I dont LOVE them, lol).

I think she will be fine. Because I was 5 and my cousin took me to a Britney Spears concert. I think that if she listens to her and is her favorite singer, it wouldn't be a problem. Just tell not to cuss along. lol.

Obviously she will have adult supervision so I see no problem with it.  There may be minor cussing, but I doubt drinking.  She is 10.  I'm sure she has heard a lot worse language from school!  Hope you guys go and have fun!

im a HUGE fan since 2002...and ive heard she cusses and there will be drinking...yes..people will be wild!!!

I've been to an Avril concert and honestly she is a great performer. I had a lot of fun. She does cuss in some songs and she is definitely not a afraid to scream the f-word. But the concert I went to was a group concert featuring the Jonas Brothers so the audience was mostly teenage girls. So there was no drinking. But I don't think thats a great place for a 10 year to be.. Maybe she should wait.
