10 year old boy?

my son jay got a note home from school for misbehaving in school. This is the 2nd time this year he gets a note home for misbehaving .He said he got his name down on the bord with 2 check marks cause he was talking out of turn a couple of times. and he said "the teacher is mean". what should i do with him. His teacher is not very nice. should i still ground him for mis beaving in class. he never got a note from school before 5th grade. and in 5th grade he got his 2nd one in 2 months

If he is having issues with the teacher talk to the school principal. If you aren't happy with the teacher explain this to the principal also.

Sounds like your son has found a teacher that doesn't appreciate him.

Treat this as a learning experience.  Talk with him about "difficult" people, and that not everyone he will meet in life will appreciate his point of view.

In school, this means finding a way to not get on the board, or get notes sent home.  In life, it's about finding the best way to get along or move along.

The good news is this is now April and there is not much of the school year left. However, you and he need to figure out how to stay off the "misbehaving list" for the next few months.
