  1. if you have a michaels arts and crafts store near you, there are some pretty cheap but very fun craft activity kits for her age. Some are especially summer oriented, like hemp and shell necklaces and flip flop decorating.

Have some of her friends over for water balloon fights, board games, etc.

  2. Take Your Camera for a Walk

    Materials needed:

Camera and film, or disposable camera

    Paper grocery bag

    Glue or tape

    Something to write with

Next time you go for a walk, or to the mall, or with mom to get groceries, bring along a camera. Disposables are a cheap and convenient option.

Record your visit. What catches your eye? A funny sign? A beautiful view? Grandparents holding hands? A dog walking its owner? Snap it. (Be sure to ask people if it's OK to take their picture.) Look for something out of the ordinary; something that could give even the person with you a different way of seeing the same things.

When you get your pictures back, lay them all out, arrange them in different ways, and see what story they tell. When you have the order you like, tape or glue them to a big sheet of paper (a cut open grocery bag works well).

    Family Scavenger Hunt

    Directions

The idea of a scavenger hunt is to find all the items on a list and return them to a designated place as quickly as possible. There are many ways to organize a hunt and many choices to make. You can play as individuals or on teams either inside the house or outside. Here are a few ideas to try:

All items on the list are easily found in the backyard (they can be hidden before the party). Things like a red leaf, matchstick, old bottle or can, feather, etc.

Each person or team is given a different list of items to find by asking people around the neighborhood.

Alphabet hunt—must find something for each letter of the alphabet.

Indoor hunt where each person looks for things and checks them off their list when they find them without picking them up.

Newspaper hunt—each person is given a list of words, sentences, advertisements, or photographs that are to be cut out or circled in a newspaper.

    Question-Answer Jumping

    Directions

These rhymes can be used by individual jumpers and by children jumping in groups.

Each rhyme asks a question that's followed by a series of possible answers. The answer is determined by the word on which the jumper trips. If the punching in this rhyme bothers you, say, "My ma stepped on your ma's toes" instead.

My ma and your ma were hanging out clothes.

My ma gave your ma a punch in the nose.

    Did it hurt her?

Yes, no, maybe so, yes, no, maybe so?

For the next rhyme, the jumper names something that starts with the letter on which he trips.

    ABCs and vegetable goop.

What will I find in the alphabet soup?

    A, B, C, D, E, F, G?

  10. WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP ASKING THIS SAME QUESTION!!!.  iT GETS POSTED ABOUT 20 TIMES A DAY!

  11. Camp is allways a good thing is shes that type of girl. They also have just day camps if she dosnt want to stay there like I didnt want to. Try a pool. I love the pool. If you dont have one you can buy those small ones for like $250 I think. Get her involved in some recreational activities. Then you allways have day care if theres a problem about you working. There are like school that you can go to during the day thats like a day care but fun even for kids her age. I hope she has fun.

  14. Learning to work at a job, like babysitting.  If she is ready.

    Also Swimming,  Hiking, Biking.

You can teach her to grow an garden.  Most usefull things is to teach  them something they will be able to use later on in life.

Allow her to make some of the choices also.  Teach her something she wants to learn also.
