  1. Try putting them in the dryer on a hot setting.

  2. Wash in hot water and dry on high heat. Once shrunk, they won't return to original size.... I don't think.

  3. This happens to me all the time. The shirt will shrink approximately one size, and if you keep doing it, it will shrink even more. You won't ruin the shirt. Definately not. But it may become too small to wear. Depending on how much you want to shrink it, wash it in hot water then dry on high heat. That usually drops a size. If you want less, try hot water wash and then medium heat, or better yet warm water wash and medium heat. Cotton is beligerant. It likes to shrink big time. It doesn't go back to its original size. My prego pouch can tell you that. Hopefully I'll drop that baby soon. I'm trying!

  4. Step 1. Wash the shirt it Hot Water - First set your washer for a SMALL load and set the water temperature to hot. You can also add some boiling water to the washer also to increase the temperature. Always wash the shirt inside out to preserve the printing.

Step 2. Dry the t-shirt on the highest temperature setting possible and leave it there until it is bone dry.

Note: One thing to keep in mind however is that any clothing item that you shrink at home may not shrink in the ways you want it to. Often the results are uneven or the shirt is too short, or not wide enough or the collar or sleeves did not shrink in relation to the shirt. Therefore when you attempt this, the results are always risky and you may not get want you want, leaving you with a T-shirt that does not fit right and doesn’t look good anymore. But in general if you shrink your shirt it shouldn't go back to its original size.
