  1. Thumbs up, though I'm not holding my breath in expectation of 90p a litre when I fill my car up next!

  2. My thumbs are up for sure something needs to change before this country implodes on itself, and Dazzla what they are doing is being a "VOICE" a voice that needs to be heard for cripes sake if nobody does anything then NOTHING gets done and if nobody speaks there is NOTHING to be heard.....

  3. good on them.... the french might have an idea too  ....tax tax tax...we just pay more and more for less and less    cut backs... that green talk is rubbish ....its all just a tax to get money of us... they earth has been hotter and colder before its nothing to do with us using cars... like car tax .. the money is not spent on the roads ...only 20 per cent is... what is the green tax gonna be spent on?? even 20%??? the have us well stitched up .. the people are stupid...most people beleive it is our duty to pay our taxes... see where thats got us ... they think up more ways to "tax us"... its our duty to pay pay pay... conjestion tax? what s that money spent on?? 20%?? who is fooling who ?? how did they manage 10 years ago when 4 million were unemployed and getting benifit?? 4 million giro s every week about 50 million quid a week... how many getting a giro now? 1 million or less that s gotta be saving 40 million a week there... car tax and petrol was a lot less too... where s it all gone...?? some one s cashing in big time ... but they say the more you get the more you want.. you get greedy... the goverment have it all sewed up,, a cushy job for life ...and a bonus pay off ...and a top pension.. more than i will ever earn a wage a quarter off in a full time job ... when they retire... who is fooling who...???

  4. wonder how much fuel was consumed in this go-slow demo...

There are protests all over the world... but what exactly are they trying to achieve ?

Are they expecting government to suddenly create more oil from nowhere and tell US and China to stop consuming so much ?

What change are they trying to effect by protesting ?

** Hi Queen ... thanks for helping me to understand why the protests re happening. I no longer live in UK so am genuinely trying to establish what the protests are about..... What specifically do the protestors want to happen as a result of their protests ? What policy change are they seeking ?

  5. Full support - time for Gormless Gordon to get something done about the cost of fuel.

Suppose some bunny hugger will come on a bleat about the atmosphere in a minute and we shouldn't support this action.

  6. Definately thumbs up, at least they are trying to do something about it, this government are hammering the public

  7. I admire their sentiments but it seems that the timing was bad as they took this action while their collegues that drive for Shell are striking and thereby putting the cost of fuel up even more.

  8. Thumbs up

  9. I appreciate that we all suffer from excessive fuel prices, but recent history shows that Mr Brown isn't impressed with demonstrations of any kind. He is a single minded individual who erroneously believes that only he knows what is right for the country. The fact that he is not an elected representative of the government seems to have not sunk into his tiny excuse for a brain.

  10. thumbs up the government needs to slash tax on fuel we've been ripped off for years
