1000 lb woman squashes 2 yr. old and now being tried for murder. How much do you think it will cost the state?

She can't walk, she will need special health care to keep her clean, bedpans, food, etc. They have to get a special vehicle to transport her, the jail isnt big enough to accomodate her so their having to build a seperate room. What do you think we should do to someone who gets life in prison that weighs that much. Dr. bills and medication will probably be outrageous and I would hate to think of the food bill. Do you think she will get the same amount of food as the other inmates? Or will she have to buy extra stuff from the commisary?

According to the report, the child was struck twice and died from the injuries, so she should be going to jail for manslaughter. So, remove a wall from her home, take her to court in a moving van, and have a trial. If convicted, she should be put in jail just like everyone else. If there is any certain medication she needs, she should be given that, but no additional care. If she dies in jail, then she dies in jail. What's the problem? It should only end up costing the same as if she were any other person, paid by taxes though, not really the state. Unfortunately, she will probably receive extra care or will end up being found not guilty just for being the lump of c**p she is.

I remember hearing something about that, I didn't know they had convicted her for crushing the kid though.

If it was up to me, she would be around 135 pounds within a couple of years.

Most people over 500lbs are a prisoner in their own home.  There is no reason to send them to jail in the first place. It would be cheaper to keep her where she is and just place a guard so nobody visits her except when she needs medical care, food and day care tending.

I do question the wisdom of giving custody of a child to a person who is unable to care for herself, though.

She won't be permitted to eat the same amount of food that she does now. When she loses weight, her medical bills will decrease.

ok...... this is fake considering a 1000lb woman cant walk so for her to squish a 2yr old the 2 yr old must have went under her. and i think it will cost 999999999999999999999999999999999999999$...

It's alright, some officials on the news mistook this woman for a whale and euthanized her.  She won't bother the countries economy anymore.  Also, now the healing can begin for the parents of the child.
