what should i do from now to a week away till i have a race?

can i improve my speed anymore.

should i just practise starts

and what should i eat and drink to the days leading up? i heard opf carb loading?

  1. practice starts, but also keep doing speedwork or whatever you have been doing. Just do less intervals than usual with shorter rest times.

    Yes you can improve speed in a week.

    Im not sure what to eat (I dont really worry about that when i train) but for these short races what you eat is not very important. Just make sure you drink alot of water. I personally beleive that plain old fashioned water beats any other type of drink when it comes to getting hydrated before a race.
