100m relay and 800 m tips please?

  1. 100m relay??

    i didnt know there was one lol

    Pick one or the other, long distance trains your legs to work slower and 100m you will try to trun faster and energy will go quicker lol

    you can do both if you want though but i wouldnt


  2. is this swimming, or running? just keep practicing and you will improve!

  3. For the 100 make sure you dont have your head looking straight ahead because when the wind hits your face it slows you down. Look down about 3-4 feet in front of you. Be sure to "dig" if you have spikes.

    For the 800 start off fast and end like you are sprinting the 100m. Also have a nice open stride.

  4. Can't help u in terms of the 100, im a distance guy but for the 800 what you want to do is just get out there and run, just keep thinking only one lap to go. Find a someone who runs in a time a little faster than yours, sit on their right shoulder the who race and try to lift in the last straight-away.
