  1. make a goal like winning the race, so when u train each time u know what you're training for....to win

    anyways good luck!!!

  2. Running a mile is a different take on the muscles. It wouldn't help much with sprinting. You gotta find out all of the best times in the regions and beat the best one before the race. Sprint the 100m 10 times a day with ankle weights. Don't sprint without the weights until the race. You can so win if you do that.

  3. run 1mile everyday until that day, then ull kill them in the race

  4. never stop running ! [this includes weekends]  train hard and do various sprint drills.  running with someone faster than you also helps because it pushes you to go faster and also to try harder.

eat starch for dinner before your race [spaghetti is good] it'll help

while you run block out everything around you and just concentrate on the finish line.

i've learned [from experience] that the fewer breaths you take [ex. breathe, hold it for 3seconds, exhale and repeat] helps because you're not wasting your energy breathing but running instead.

good luck and don't be nervous :] just keep thinking "I CAN DO THIS !!"  don't give up if someones in front of you, it should push you to try harder.

  5. running a mile won't help with anything under a 800m.

it makes you have a totally different mentality of how fast you should run going into the race.

so,i agree with the person who said you should run with ankle weights. it'll make that race seem entirely too easy.

also, make sure only focused on the race.

OH,and don't false start either,it'll make you even more neverous and it'll make that 100m feel like a 200m.

    (:

  6. well try to think are u fit for this if not get up at about 6am and go for a jog and after that go to the gym and work out on your calf muscles. the hardest part is to eat really healthy food. then go to the doctors to see if have any health matters. after that go to the race track and time your self to see how long it takes to run 100m and try record this so you can improve this or get a couple friends to have a race and to beat them. then when your proper race comes on try do lots of stretches and exercises because you are going to need it. i know you can do this Good Luck and i hope you win
