went wrong way around a roundabout, went through red light, failed to stop for police, previous for driving while disqualified & drug offences.

24 years of age. Pregnant driver of other car not injured (amazingly).

How long do you think his custodial sentence was for this?

How long do you think his new driving ban was for this?

  1. i say the most fines and penalties you can get you deserve...thats alot of things you did wrong

  2. MAYBE 24YRS OLD BUT IM SORRI BUT U BHAVE LIKE A BABY UNAWARE OF ANYTHNG OR ANY1 ELSE. U SHUD AV A LIFE TIME BAN..

  3. I'd give him 10 years hard labour but i'm sure he got a slap on the wrists and some community service and told he was a very naughty boy. Go on, how long?

  4. dunno, should be 10 years

  5. Probally not long enough.

  6. Are you trying to tell us the punishment did not fit the crime.

  7. Well, Ted Kennedy killed someone with his car and was never punished for it, so I'll say your guy didn't serve a day either.

  8. My guess is that there was no custodial sentence (probably to young for prison anyway) and tehrefore the ban would be a non starter as it would probably end before the t**t was old enough for their licence !!

    Am I close ??

  9. Oh I'd say a slap on the wrist and a few points on his license - drivers are totally untouchable these days, they go around causing havoc and mayhem, and then have the gall to moan about speed cameras  and parking fines.  The sooner we run out of petrol the better.

  10. This is not an issue of driving law and should not be viewed in the context of how long he should/shouldn't be disqualified for.

People who do this kind of stuff (for whatever reason) need to be contained and kept away from the rest of us until they can behave. He's already been done for similar crimes.

  11. The judge most likely said he understands his condition and its not really his fault , most likely the way his mummy put his hat on , Then let him off with a caution and a £5 fine payable in 50 easy payments . After that he most likely charged the pregnant woman with infringing the turds human right by not allowing him to knock her over . And in this stupid country run by the lunatic PC brigade i am not kidding

  12. I have tried it myself, here is some good informations.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ca...

  13. not long enough

  14. Seems fair enough to me. 9 months is quite a long time seeing as he didn't harm anybody. If he's a drug addict he'll probably be dead before the ban is up anyway.

  15. Probably 3 month suspended sentence and an 18 month ban.

  16. This is why I do not want to be a judge. It is hard to get the punishment to fit the crime. The UK criminal justice system often cannot impose a punishment which the general public thinks is appropriate. For instance, how do you impose a sentence of imprisonment on someone who has killed another which will satisfy the family of the deceased? You probably cannot.

I do not know enough about the circumstances of the case you mention to comment with any authority. However, if he pleaded guilty, the system offers an incentive of a reduction of the sentence which would have been imposed after trial of up to 1/3. The judge is supposed to begin at a starting point, then look at aggravating and mitigating factors of the offence, before moving on to any aggravating and mitigating features of the offender, to arrive at a final sentence.

If you are unhappy with the sentence, you can contact the local CPS to see if they are considering referring the sentence as unduly lenient to the Court of Appeal. You can also contact your MP.

Please remember that the system is not perfect; it is operated by humans after all.

    I hope that helps.

  17. £100 fine 3 points on his licence

  18. Given the CPS and government directives pobably a lollipop

  19. A slap on the wrist.

Other than being morale people why do the vast majority of UK residents even bother being 'law' abiding?

The sentence should be 10 years min - attempted murder!

    Where is individual responsibility?

  20. 40 hours community service?.
