1099 More help please?

Question

After having someone fill out the W-9, do i save it until tax time or do i send it in to the IRS.Thanks for your help.

Save it and use the number to prepare a 1099.

You do not send it to the IRS, but you keep it for as long as you use that vendor. DO NOT get rid of it after the tax filing deadline.
