10th digit of Vin Code for 2010 and so on????

Anybody that knows Vin codes, knows that the 10th digit of the 17 bit Vin code represents the year...(after 1981)....All the letters and numbers will have been used come 2010, what will happen then?????? Does anybody know for sure, or is it still up in the air???? Wikipedia says they are starting back at A...

They are going back to alpha in 2010.  They are doing this due to the fact with the OBD II  programing there will be no confusion on what year it is. (NON OBD II prior to 1996/ OBD II post 1996/on).  The only confussion will be when they hit the letter "T" and on due to the fact OBD II was used here in 96 till 99 before they started numerics.  Rumor has it the vin plates will be getting an "over haul" by then.
