10th grade question!!!

I'm going into the 10th grade, and I made a perfect 4.0 last year. (Actually it is higher because I took a A.P class). I take co-op classes. WHich means that I'm home schooled sorta. I go to classes twice a week but I do all the homework at my house basically. But it is just as hard as private school. It's pretty touch and I was wondering....I have to take a PE credit so I have to go to the gym or run twice a week, and I go to church on Sundays, and my friends house on Friday's almost all day. I go to school all day on tuesday, thursday, and I'm taking piano which I have to practice a lot. At the same time I have to clean my bathroom (which takes a little over an hour) for $5 dollars a week from my mom. And along the way I go to a party about twice a month. And I like to have time to rest up and stuff on saturdays. And My homework is so hard it takes about 6 hours to 7 hours a day.

Now for my question...should I quit some things or stop going to parties because last year I was always so wiped out all the time. I didn't really have much family time. What should I do? I really want to make another 4. 0 though! help please!!

P.S

Sorry the question is so long. =D

  1. If you and your friend go to the same school you can do your homework together. Before you go to parties you could do homework. After church you could hit the gym.On wendsdays clean the bathrom in the morning then practice the piano.Monday spend time with your family.

  2. I personally prefer a little more down time just to hang out with my kids. You college life will be hectic. Enjoy a slower pace now. You probably wouldn't have to cut out that much.

  3. this depends on your future plans and your priorities.

are you counting on an academic scholarship?

do you have your sights set on a school that requires top GPA?

or, are you afraid you're gonna miss out on being a teenager,

    just to get all A's?

are you having trouble pleasing someone unless you do perfect work?

or do you demand it of yourself?

one thing is certain, there are only 24 hours in a day.

your body, at your age needs 8 - 10 hours of sleep,

and you have to order your priorities to get done what

will best suit your future plans,

and not succumb to unreasonable pressures,

whether your own or anyone else's.

    i hope this helps

  4. your schedule seems very crowded, try to make some time for yourself

  5. Your AP classes are going to take more and more time as you get closer to taking the AP test. If you want to take the AP test and pass, you're going to have to put in the hours of study.

Do you have a calendar where you're charting your time? If so, look it over to see where you can move some time. Remember that homework counts as school time since you're being homeschooled. If you don't have a calendar, then get one started.

Is there a reason you're studying piano? Can you put it off for a while or reduce the time spent on practice?

You're on a grueling schedule but if you learn how to manage your time you'll find yourself far ahead in life.
