11 dpo bfn, what to to do next?

i am 11 dpo (BFN) with AF due Friday. I am assuming its over as i tested with a early dectection test. This cycle used opk and BD day before O and day of O. Should we be trying something differently? we are healthy in our late 20s.

Wait until AF is late before wasting money on tests..You're more likely to get a positive result after AF is late if you are infact pregnant. If it doesnt happen this month, remember there is always next month. have hope and faith.

Dont give up just yet. Your body doesn't start making hcg until the fertilized egg implants . For some pregnancies, this can take 10-12 days!! Then it will double about 2 times every day after, but the most early tests begin measuring at 25mlu. Try to be patient and wait until you are late (Its like preaching to the choir lol). Unfortunately, too many women get confused by all the ads put out by pregnancy test manufacturers. The truth is that the majority of pregnant women will not have a positive pregnancy test on 11 dpo. You are more likely to get a positive HPT after you miss your period.

I agree with Hotheat, wait until after you miss your period to test, because if you are preggo, you should have enough hCG in your body for the test to pick up.  My tests always take upto 5 weeks after conception to come back positive.  GL!
