Today I have had this constant nagging pain in my left lower abdomen. It is not very bad, but some parts in the day it has worsened, then got better. It hurts alot worse when I apply pressure to the area. Should I worry about this and see the doctor or am I over reacting? Maybe I should wait and see if it gets any better?

I have had some cramps during the course of the pregnancy so far and it is a different kind of feeling than that. Also, I am getting twinges of pain radiating down into my vaginal area.

  1. yes go to the DR. now dont wait any longer get it checked. when it comes to your baby its never over reacting

  2. I wouldn't worry about the pain that radiates into the vaginal area...that's normal.  You're going to have a lot of that in your pregnancy.  That's usually because your pelvis actually starts to split apart and open up to make room for the baby.  Towards the end of the pregnancy, it'll actually get so painful it'll hurt to walk.  (That's the reason for the "waddle" that pregnant women are so famous for.  The waddle isn't from the weight of the belly...it's because their pelvis is killing them! lol.)

I would give my doctor a call about the pain in the abdomen.  It's probably nothing to worry about, you're going to have all sort of cramps and stretching pains and gas pains throughout the pregnancy, but when you're pregnant, it's always better to be safe than sorry.  Never hesitate to give your doctor a call when you're worried about something.  That's what they're there for.

  3. Most of time during early pregnancy those lower pains are ligaments stretching and not miscarriage cramps or anything like that. Your uterus is getting larger and therefore all of the ligaments in your abdominal area are trying to compensate, and those pains can be very uncomfortable. Stick with it and those pains will get better as you get further along. Also regular exercise will help now and even later in pregnancy for pains and discomfort. Congratulations and good luck.

  4. go to a doctor Now ...yes I think you may have something to worry about ...you know it could be appendicitis...or a problem like ectopic pregnancy .I dont want you to panic but you should get it looked at ...if its nothing then fine but its better to be safe than very sorry...
