Dear Sir,

I purchased a kirby sentria vacuum cleaner from ebau two weeks ago.
I currently resid in the UAE with 220V power.
My maid has plugged the vacuum to work with it unaware of the voltage difference, a terrble noise as mentioned came from the cleaner as well as a smell. She unlugged it and stopped t from operating.
Can you please let me know how can i assess the damage?
If this model has a switch from 110 to 220V
IS there a solution with transfromer or motor to make it work?

Thank you in advance fro your kind time

Regards
