11:11 .. what's up with this ?????

... i alwaysss see the time when it is 11:11 ... ever since i told my bf about it, he sees the time at 11:11 too ... i read somewhere that it is coz some of us were "light-bearers" and 11:11 is an alarm for our spirit or somethin... do you see the time at 11:11 too ??

I have been drawn to look at time at exactly 11:11 off & on for years now.  Sometimes see other number combinations as well (like 333) but mostly 11:11 on clocks (sometimes on receipts / bill amounts, dates or other manifestations).  I Did not know there were so many others who see it too & feel it has meaning until a friend of mine did an internet search.  I even see chapters devoted to it at spiritual sites now.  There are groups at yahoo & elsewhere too.  Do a search, if you haven't already.  It blew my mind.  Most seem to believe it is a genetic code that is being awakened in certain people that is calling them to action; that it may be connected to the approach of 2012 (end of Mayan Calendar); that 11'ers are brotherhood of 'lightworkers' many of whom practice some kind of healing (e.g., massage therapy, nursing, psychology, counseling) or they soon will; that we are to keep centered in peace during a chaotic time of change and to symbolically hold the light for others to follow.  Sounded a bit pretentious to me at first, but it does seem to fit somehow, I must admit.  For one, I had quit a very serious job in Law Enforcement to become a Massage Therapist, gave up huge salary+benefits; turned my focus to closeness w/ family; quit my long commute right just before I started seeing 11:11 -- kind of added meaning to that drastic shift of my main focus.  Since then, there has been loss & hardship in my personal life (not to mention what we all see globally) entwined with this spiritual shift... but What's important to me now? ... LOVE and keeping that love alive ....  and that about sums it up.  The more you get to know other 11'ers the more you find you have in common w/ them... it's a little spooky sometimes.
