I have to take it to 1800 rpms before I can let her loose other wise she hesitates dies and stalls. She has a little trouble starting up as well sometimes. Could it just be the carbs? I checked the fuel filter and spark plugs. They looked like they had a little oil in which might be normal for a 2 stroke I dont know. Other than that it has good acceleration when over 18-19 hundred rpms. Any suggestions?

  1. if you put the oil in that mixes with the gasoline in a seperate tank.. and some type of mixer is used.. then look at the amount of smoke you are putting out.. if it is excessive the oil injector should be checked.. and if you mix your own.. the oil is not good.. or you are using to much.... one time put in high test after cleaning your plugs.. and thats another thing.. go to a hotter plug.. one range hotter.. there is a graph in the store.. look at the plug it should be gray if it is black. it needs to be hotter.. ok gilermo..

  2. Sounds like the carbs need cleaned out.

  3. have the carbs. rebuilt and you will think you have a new engine.

  4. If electronic ignition is involved your battery probably has a defective cell. Replace battery to get 12 volts to the system.
