  1. Lake Iseo near Brescia quite and pleasant.

If you want more culture Florence and Pisa and if you just want the beech Lido de Jessolo just outside Venice.

  2. Cinque Terre,  its a beautiful little group of 5 villages,  there is not alot of the modern hustle and bustle,  its a place if u want to get away from it all you can.  not far from Pisa

  3. MARCHE OR ABRUZZO !!

  4. R&R in Venice the go to the Lido and don't come into Venice. The Lido's relaxing atmosphere will do you a world of good. If you really want to get away while in Venice check out the San Clemente Palace.

Rome - now way to R&R there.... find a place well out side of the city. Go to Tivoli.

  5. Try Rimini

  6. Cinque Terre. Very relaxing.  Been there twice.

  7. Don't miss Siena!  It is beautiful, ancient, traffic-free, and full of little surprises.  A great place for a couple of non-hectic days to just soak in the wonders of Italy without having to be such a tourist.

  8. how many times are you going to ask this question?

  9. You could try somewhere not too visited by tourists like Lake Bolsena - north of Rome, and from there you can go to places like Orvieto.

Alternatively - try Lake Garda, or Lake Iseo (near Bergamo) - or the old city states like Mantua, or Verona.  It rather depends on whether you are going to be using public transport or will have a car - you have far more options if you do drive.  We had a great time driving round northern Lazio - interesting places to see and not too many tourists.

  10. You can go to Tuscany and see Florence.  It is beautiful with gorgeous markets and art and food.  You can stay in the countryside and do cooking classes or tour the vineyards on bicycle.  Alternatively, you could go to the island of Capri.  It is very Mediterranean and you could see the fluro blue grotto which is awesome
