  1. Spades of Columbia doesn't have a clue what it is.It is a Remington 870,I can tell by looking at the trigger guard area. And it is a 12 gauge not a 20 and it looks like a 21inch barrel that holds 8 to 9 shots. It also mite be a Winchester, but it is not a Mossberg 20 gauge like Spades of Columbia said.

  2. Mossberg 500...probably in a 20ga...around at 20" barrel...maybe a 24" barrel

  3. Yeah, I know what brand and gauge shotgun that is. It is a Winchester 1300, Defender model 12 gauge. It's an 18 inch barrel and a 7 shot magazine tube. A very durable, simple and easy to use defensive shotgun.

Since the barrel is not readily changeable, and the one it comes with is so short and is only an improved cylinder choke at best, it makes for a poor hunting shotgun. It was primarily intended for buckshot or other defensive loads, however, it will still shoot clays pretty well if you can hit it before it gets too far out.

The 1300 Speed pump is one of the easiest slide actions to operate. It operates incredibly smoothly, due to the rotating bolt, not found on the Mossberg and Remington competitors. The result is a much faster slide or pump action, in my opinion less prone to short stroking under stress.

Accessories may be slightly less available for the 1300 as opposed to the 870, but still very common.

Winchester quit making this shotgun, but a version made by FN herstal (a large firearms company with many government contracts) called the TPS. There are still many of these on the used market in good condition.
