12 hour bus trip:what can I do?

i'm going on a school trip tomorrow and we have to be on a bus for 12 hours or so.I'm going to be with my friends,there will be movies to watch but what am i going to do afterwards,to pass the time?we arent allowed to bring our phones and i dont want to bring my iPod because i dont want it to break or get stolen.i bought a magazine but that 'll only get me so far.i can never fall asleep on bus rides =[

any ideas?

take a camera with u , so you can make stupid funny pics with friends. Maybe u also find a good book, not some heavy reading, some girly book like gossipgirls or sth, so u can read it, when others pass out :D

maybe u do some handycraft like knitting?

u can also bring a book of anecdotes, from this u can read jokes to your friends.

if you think that's a long trip hum,,,,,,  we once went from Perth WA to Melbourne3 days and nights try that sometime,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I made a 40 hour trip with nobody i knew - if you can't enjoy 12 hours with your friends, something is wrong with you and your friendships.

If you do get bored, sleep.

why not with your friends make up games or get a scrapbook if you like drawing or writing get a puzzle magazine they always help pass heaps of time or talk to your friends about one particular topic like favourite music etc, Have fun with the long trip
