  1. Sure. It isn't all about how much  or how big or even how many subs. It sure makes a difference. But if you have one 12" Sub and an amp that will power it, You will be just fine.

  2. yes, you are fine, its YOUR personal preference

when it comes down to how much bass you get it depends on a couple things--- the amount of surface area, two 12s will give you twice the surface area of one so you will get twice the amount of bass

---the RMS (continuous) wattage, the more continuous wattage going to the sub the louder

---the frequency response, the lower the frequency that your subs can play (and your amp send out) the lower/deeper the bass will be

---sensitivity- the subs sensitivity, a speaker with a sensitivity rating that's 3 dB higher than another speaker's only needs half as much power to deliver the same amount of sound.

  3. in my car that i had recently sold i had 2 12" kicker comps

that banged pretty hard but i sold them and i just recently got 1 L7 10" kicker only 1 and it blows away the 2 combined so its not  how many speakers you have or how big they are its just what kind of speaker you have
