12 string guitar?

since theyre more than eadgbe how do find strings for a 12 strings and what are they in order from 1-12 from the top

They have special sets of strings for 12-string guitars!

You count them from bottom to top!

They are listed;  e-e

                            b-b

                            g-G

                            d-D

                            a-A

                            e-E

The G,D,A,E  are one octave difference in tuning !

From your local music shop.  It should say on the string packets which is which.  Simple.

The Guitar Center, Sam Ash, any music store will have them....They are the same as a standard guitar, only instead of six strings the twelve has two of the same, two, holding the guitar on your lap and starting from the bottom they are, two  E's, B's, G's, D's, A's, and the bass E !!!!!!!!! a twelve is almost exactly like a 6 string. but every string for a 6 string is instead 2 strings that are either an octave apart for the wound strings or exactly the same note doubled up for the higher strings. so it's still e a d g b e, but eE aA dD gg bb ee. at least that's how i remember it. basically 12 strings are just like 6 strings except more fuller sound, only good for strumming really, and much more of a pain to tune.

I saw this one. I think it's like mandoline- double string

and it's same like normal gui : E- A- D- G- B- E

U could use normal strings for this but use em 2x

then it 's EE -AA-GG-BB-EE

12 strings will give u special effect like mandoline
