The essential thing about VOIP is that you ONLY NEED ONE 'line' to your ISP .. just as you can have hundreds of PC's browsing the internet together, all on the same ISP line, so you can have hundreds of phones.

I believe most 'legacy' users simply swap out their existing analogue exchange for a VOIP one .. theses are available for just about everyone ... go shop around (try google 'VOIP PBX' )
