Respect the Ref. Like whenever a referee makes a blunder, the fans are always calmed down by media representatives reporting in the news that it is acceptable as the job is a strenuous one and is complimentary with tremendous amounts of
pressure and like players on the football field, there are referees who can take these conditions lightly and some which have to endure much ridicule because of them.
A microphone is all that is required. A referee should always have a microphone pinned up and switched on. The other sports like Aussie rules and Rugby are getting ahead of football in terms of the ease of officiating.
When the referee has a microphone pinned to him, not only will the players keep their comments in check but will also allow the official to control the match more efficiently.
When the players know that their comments are being heard and recorded, they will ensure that no matter how infuriated they are, their voices and comments are in check, polite and non-degrading. Abuses will reduce and so will clashes. Safe to say that this
one has no negatives and no difficulty of implementation.
This is a step that can be taken for both the referees and the players benefit as it will only help in the smooth running of the game so ultimately it will keep all the fans happy, even if this means that we will see less barking on the football ground and
will have to shut the players up that are so notoriously famous for such behavior.
Goal line officials need to be removed. There is no need of having two extra officials standing on the goal line when they will do absolutely nothing. A substitute to the much called for goal line technology, this is more of a nuisance

The two extra officials have nothing to do in the whole game. Standing idly, you would often expect them to be bored like anything before any real confrontation in the penalty area needs their assistance.
Goal line officials: fail. Goal line technology: needs introduction.
