im 12 weeks pregnant and still have no symptoms whatsoever! my b***s arent sore, i havent gained any weight (ive lost 10lbs actually), my jeans still fit fine im just a little concerned...i feel like something is not right like the baby isn't growing or something...has this happened to anyone before? all my books say i should be needing maternity clothes by now and i should have gained a couple pounds....ect. also when i had my first child it was completely the opposite!! by now i already needed maternity pants...im getting worried...

also i have not been sick and i eat all the time so there is no reason for losing weight...

just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this because im worried about the baby...thank you!!!

  1. in the first three months normally you lose wieght and the wieght that you lost you gain back so it feels like you havent gained anything. it is normal you probably are pregnant with the opposite s*x then your first. with my first i had a girl and gained weight but wasnt sick or any symptoms same with my second was a girl and some symptoms like sore b***s and cramping then my third i only gained 10 lbs from start to finish was sick all the time and all the symptoms it was horible that was my son.

  2. Hi, I know someone who went through their whole pregnancy without realising until 34 weeks that she was expecting. She had absolutely no symptoms, no showing and her periods had always been irregular. Towards 29 weeks she put on a little weight but other than that nothing. I know this is rare but something to think about, a little reassurance.

  3. well im 12w too and i havent gained a lot of weight but i was skinny b4 i got preg. i feel sick alot. i dont think any thing is wrong. just every preggo is different. relax

  4. I am pregnant with boy,I had no sickness or anything so  I was very happy and should you.I lost 23 pound during first trimester.I am almost 7 months pregnant and I have only gained 5 lbs my dr told me as long as my baby was healthy it was fine.Don't freak out you're fine.

  5. my first preg. was like this. I didn't gain any weight until about 5 months. It depends on what your eating and how much your exercising. Plus your pelvic bone may never have gone back to its original size after the first pregnancy, that might be why your pants still fit.

  6. I'd count your blessings. I'm sure it's normal but I'd talk to your OB just in case.

  7. Every pregnancy is different.  The books say what's common, but that doesn't mean you'll have the same symptoms they list.  With my first, I didn't need maternity clothes until six weeks before she was born and I lost 14 pounds.  With my second, I didn't need maternity clothes until 30 weeks and I lost 12 pounds.  With this one (currently 13 weeks), I've lost 4 pounds but my pants are tight.  I was sick with my daughter, had migraines with my son (not listed as a common symptom in any book I read), and have had both with this one!  Silly, silly pregnancy symptoms.

Have you had a doctor's appointment already for measurements?  That's the best way to determine if you're the right size, not gaining or losing weight or maternity clothes requirements.

  8. with my 1st i was the same as u. i had a very healthy little girl. now im due march 12th! and doing just fine.

  9. I didnt gain weight till the end of my pregnancy. I also didnt get sick or have anything else untill later in pregnancy. I would call you OB though stressing is not good for the baby either. Just ease your nerves and see a OB. I am sure everything is ok. You are just lucky!

  10. Seriously, don't listen to the books. Listen to your body. The only symptom I had had for the first 20 weeks was sickness and I lost 25 pounds in my first trimester and didn't need maternity clothes until about 24 weeks. Hopefully you've heard the heartbeat and things at your appointments and know everything is good there. You should getg an ultrasound soon too.

  11. Every pregnancy is different. The things that happened with your 1st isn't going too be the same with the 2nd,3rd and so on. Sounds like u are one of the lucky ones with not getting sick ... That's a bonus. With losing weight, I would go to your Dr and ask them. I can't remember if that was normal or not, just make sure u get it checked. But don't worry and sit back and relax and enjoy your pregnancy :)

  12. Some people gain weight during the first trimester.  Some during the middle, and some during the last one.  If you're doing the complete opposite of what you did last time, maybe the s*x of the baby is different.  I wouldn't be worried right now.  Voice your concerns at the next doctor's appointment.  They know more about these things than many of us.

  13. You can loose weight at the beginning and my b***s were not sore with my second i was concerned about that but everything went fine. I would talk to your doctor about this but I'm sure all the eating will catch up to you before long I'm sure you have already been to at least one ob appointment and it checked out fine so try not to worry.  I know the beginning of pregnancy it is hard not to.and remember every pregnancy is different.

  14. I lost 10 pounds. My doctor said it was probably because I was eating better. He said that it doesn't matter if you are gaining lots until about 30 weeks. Plus symptoms are more likely to be strongest in your first pregnancy
